Play from 0:00[0:00]" Time for hours before the bell stock report and jocular Veritas -- blocks in for WBZ's financial editor -- this morning paycheck good morning important. I guess the big question is can we get our mind UEFA those credit problems any earnings or economic other economic news to redirect our attention."

Play from 0:17[0:17]" Well we're getting some you know it's we think of the earnings season is being over but we have these companies that are on late July and in court reporting and that's a lot of retailers and so we got some pretty good news today from a couple target one of the big -- and BJ's wholesale which is a local -- companies here that he especially came in line with -- expectations which is better than what we saw from Wal-Mart and -- people this week and targets talking about some decency extortion bills results from this month so. That is encouraging them that helped the futures this morning futures are looking oh look toward the upside today there's not much economic news this week a little frustrating year I would look at durable goods and new homes sales key thing will be to durable goods and other arms sales numbers will be very good hopefully we'll get something plausible durable goods."

Play from 1:24[1:24]" Well let's get to their credit crisis struck how does it -- this morning."

Play from 1:30[1:30]" And there's no quick solution in sight it's interesting that the treasury secretary also in the in an interview this morning. Really emphasize that I mean -- very complex situation little -- and financial instruments there in recent years and kind of work its way through a minefield here and tried. Restore stability but I think they're doing a pretty good job but. No it won't get maybe a little more insight it was from a meeting Tuesday that it does senator Chris chairman of the banking -- going to -- with the treasury secretary Paulson and a German Bernanke's so maybe it won't get some some insights one that's so over. One interesting little playing today that was encouraging news. We're starting to see some of the mortgage participants maybe taking the medicine thing he did not waiting to. For some bill out here from the two. Capital one now exercising there agreement point mortgage operations but and so if we get -- of that maybe tool -- helped -- expect products."

Play from 2:43[2:43]" All right we'll leave it right there -- Kyl thank you very much"
