The Bruins had pretty much been relegated to second class status around here the last four years of not making the post season. But this year is run to get into the playoffs and give the ball out of Montreal Canadiens all they could handle was -- very much needed shot in the arm for the steam. It was obvious after watching last night's game. That the Bruins -- expended so much energy and emotion in games five and six to get to a game seven that they were spent and had nothing left in the tech. But the season ended up as much better one than had been expected. After general manager peer pressure really fired a coach Dave Lewis following just one season on the job and brought in Claude Julien. Word out of buffalo the Bruins headquarters was that -- he was told he'd better be right in making that nobody was. Julian did an excellent job should get some votes for coach of the year. This year's playoff series accomplish several things for the Bruins have brought them back from being irrelevant. Gave their fans hope for the future with some excellent young players to build around like Patrice Bergeron missed most of the season Milan -- is going to be real stud.
