Play from 1:23[1:23] ..." Cairo I mean he's the reason that. I'm here he was a farm director at the time and I just felt like you know we were aligned. This in regard to how we felt about baseball"...

Play from 3:18[3:18] ..." normally see him and because of that type of ballgame I mean Tom Mastny comes to mind and you look at what Jensen Lewis did. You know -- them a big hit throughout tough left handers"...

Play from 4:34[4:34] ..." so -- great effort by legends. Well I'm Eric why -- home. Mastny in in that particular inning against those three guys mr. chips -- thrown two scoreless innings in into anymore well he had. You know yet -- falter or -- and felt like the way Tom threw the ball"...

Play from 0:00[0:00]" There last night was the first time Boston has lost -- post season extreme game at home you feel like you might have -- that here and invincibility they feel there. Does a great game I mean it was they gave great effort. You know both games and you know when you get them into the post season. Do you feel. You of the game going the way that game was going. He knew we might be playing for awhile one's gonna take something special it is to finish it often -- trot stepped up we. A number of people that stepped up in that game too. To allow us to get that point I'm so it you know then -- that's tough place to play there but I felt like our our guys handled it great and that's a long series put to. It was. It was important for us to get out there with a split and I really love the way our our guys competed last night. Erica we your bunker and it use more than one chance man and in different organizations. Why you picked indians' offer and was this is. A Marshall Cairo I mean he's the reason that. I'm here he was a farm director at the time and I just felt like you know we were aligned. This in regard to how we felt about baseball and players."

Play from 1:45[1:45]" that he was in this thing for the right reasons and that's so important to me in. It's important but our players understand that. We care about them and it's and it's all about them and that's what this organization operates and we try to be as consistent with as you can because it's real. Erick given what a great job this Red Sox did with -- two aces how -- for you to get there with a win -- age to bats weren't there very very best mainly because there -- fuzzy. Collective effort. In Boston that wrote -- job you know with CC and Fausto CC -- they they compete -- mean and and and their warriors on the mound but. I've felt like that you know Boston did a great job and and making them work trying to get him on the plate. For us last night the bullpen really stepped up. You know gave -- chance to keep on playing and it's so tough to win extra inning games on the road talked about last violently you've got to get. You know basically six outs to their three watched him extra innings and that so it was it was a long night but. Everybody stepped up and -- you know people have stepped up -- put in the situations that you would normally see him and because of that type of ballgame I mean Tom Mastny comes to mind and you look at what Jensen Lewis did. You know -- them a big hit throughout tough left handers and just. Used to you can't say enough about you know the effort of both teams gave last time but it is. Ultimately news it was great -- finished now and problem. -- specifically Lewis came in an inning when you know Boston's going and then that pretty well in the bullpen and it. -- play you know he's gonna stem the tide there -- did a great job of stop and the momentum that they had going to a point he's he's got a big part of our bullpen here last couple months and another young man that. Come through our system is a great deal confidence. You know he's really you know helped us in the back in the horrible and a lot of big outs force here in -- in the last couple months into he was the one that really got things going for us last night and their bullpen and I think everybody's worked off of that so -- great effort by legends. Well I'm Eric why -- home. Mastny in in that particular inning against those three guys mr. chips -- thrown two scoreless innings in into anymore well he had. You know yet -- falter or -- and felt like the way Tom threw the ball -- night before. You know that he was our best option that point in time. It was important for him to get that game -- hadn't pitched in 12 days at that point so nobody in the post season. Got the days off I mean you've got players that some are sometimes. Put in that situation next thing you know I mean you'd you'd need a minute and a big way. I really like wait for the ball. They've for the two innings he pitched -- about point six pitches I think so he was strong -- and talk about being thrown in the fire mean that's you know those three guys it and he did a great job and like the way -- right after. Mark."

Play from 5:44[5:44]" Are you talked a little bit last night about the intangible benefits of bringing a guy like trot. What it would it to teams show you the way they rallied last night yet -- and -- and -- hostile environment that thing in. And you know -- how can this carry over now in an argument that you guys have the momentum well. Yeah."

Play from 6:04[6:04]" You know our guys play. The same way every -- but when you talk about. Trot and what he's brought to this ballclub. You know you can't downplay it at all because he's is really helped a lot of our young players and and you know I think everybody was up at home plate with him last night when he is up there and you felt our dugout."

Play from 6:35[6:35]" You know before during and after his -- And."

Play from 6:40[6:40]" Big game player he's been in that situation a lot. You know for him to get a big hit there Fenway all the all the more special and but -- he's not a great -- our ball club both on and off the field and his role has changed over the course this year but today he's a great competitor and everybody wants to go up their play everyday but. -- he's handled like the professional he is into becomes ballpark every -- ready to play. And the fact that. -- follow up to what. It was just a moment ago is there anything as momentum you pick up from that kind of went on the road coming home game three -- or anything at this point of the season carry over. We're -- we're. We're happy to be back home and if you -- talk about momentum one way and you gotta talk about momentum the other way. -- wouldn't be sitting here you know cry about it we lost last night -- and that the momentum with them not considered say. You know we're we're rock and roll and because we won last knows it was one game it was a big game we came out of the split but. In fact of the matter is we need to relax and rest today and -- the ballpark tomorrow. And and be ready do go out there and compete the way we do. I'm glad becoming home you know I'm excited about. You plan you know here in front of our fans I'm excited that. City Cleveland just you know watch your team play your home for three games and not right now my entire focus is is on tomorrow I'd and you play in the way we need to play tomorrow. At the moment Eric you mentioned they need to rest a long night also couple relievers went longer and what they normally do just that al. -- I guess are the guys. Well they'll be all right I mean the post season they're tough. They do a good job take care of themselves. And there was a long night prerogative for both teams but to. I think the off days is needed. Also rest you don't know get off their feet and you know will be ready to go tomorrow so we've had some off days here in the post season which I think has been. Needed you know for us with the grind you know we have that. Them the B radio tomorrow."

Play from 9:08[9:08]" Eric what all what can you look an -- ball what can CC and Carmona to. Credited just to the Boston hitters -- they've adjusted to."

Play from 9:18[9:18]" Well I think that's what to do. You know there. Great competitors -- very talented but they're very intelligent as well and they do a good job of learn from their experiences. They do good job of making adjustments and I think that's what you'll see happen you know they'll they'll do that and I've got a pretty good idea what their feeling inside but you know what they need to do is look ahead and that's what they will do and and prepared and be ready to. You know go out there and you give us give us a chance to win the next time they pitch"
