Play from 0:00[0:00]" This is Mary -- WBZ Newsradio 10:30 and I am speaking with Kristen Barley at Holliston. And she plans to attend tonight's Barney Frank town hall meeting on health care reform. And at Kristen good morning you go by the Avant the moniker GOP mom explained if you will."

Play from 0:18[0:18]" I'm. In November 2006 my -- that's -- appearing Atlantic complain about politics. He set up a block forming. We had moved to Massachusetts here's previously. And it was a -- really for -- kind of keeping contact with my friends from Ohio. People like -- Politically organized but I guess he locally. In my area in Ohio and just -- away from a blow off steam. Went from there isn't."

Play from 0:57[0:57]" Clinton tonight at the town hall meeting -- UN out listening might argue have something you wanna sag."

Play from 1:02[1:02]" I might be here but the cockpit and of course have to say. I -- Have a question or skill that I like -- based on what he might then have to say air base and went any congress person might have to say. I'm not hopeful that I would. It's going to be a record breaking crowd. I am really not helpful at this point that I might be able to get asked that question. I exactly and congresswoman on mrs. how Romanian couple weeks ago. And I was fortunate to be there very early and and that event I've been able to --"

Play from 1:38[1:38]" What are your concerns as GOP month."

Play from 1:41[1:41]" Com and my concern regarding this the current house resolution 3200 that's going around to. But my -- many didn't mind -- fundamentally opposed to the government really having anything to do so with our health care system in the United States. I I believe in competition and I believe in the free market system. And I I believe that the -- that were headed down we'll make. The quality of care in the United States goes down at which it is superior to anywhere else in the world right now and also the quantity available to people. I -- that I'm tired and we appreciate the holiday visiting family. But I've had had the opportunity to read through probably about half of the resolution and and if it makes me very nervous to read about all the bureaucracy that is being created. Lots of commission's forty to fifty different commissions and boards. Opposite you know and no concrete information about what the decision cited these boards will be making I can't imagine how all. You can take our existing system which work so well for so many people. You know. Eat we get the number the indeed about 47 million who -- uninsured while the majority of those people are illegal aliens. School and my opinion really are not entitled to government health care. -- people who have chosen not and -- insurance. System for whatever read and actual number of uninsured Americans who wants to. Insurance can help provide them -- healthcare it very very small and throw away our entire system. To accommodate a few and are even giving granted that that number has gone up in the last years so. With the economic but the recession -- and that we're talking maybe ten to twelve million people. Let's find solutions that those people within the free market. Give incentives to insurance companies that are out there already is sharing and taking care of American families. Give them the opportunity. To look for ways to ensure that these people -- now Chris don't."

Play from 3:46[3:46]" I just was a -- the question here I am because I wanted to get a couple questions in we have a time limit but I just wanted to ask me there has been -- already made by the that chairman that he is going to remove anybody who was -- what you expected tonight do you still plan to say something or do you feel that there is going to be. Anger have you seen that -- the song -- hearings and another question I had if you went to the that the song is hearing what did you not hear there that you want to go another hearing are you planning to go to every hearing."

Play from 4:16[4:16]" I'm unfortunately my congressman hasn't scheduled any so I'm interested in hearing from as many people look like he has. As to what their take on them said. -- I it would never occur to me to -- and shout anybody down."

Play from 4:40[4:40]" About the -- deal about the shot."

Play from 4:43[4:43]" You know what if it makes it very difficult to conduct business he gives you can't hear but the congressperson -- saint. And what I learned that congress -- long -- is that what they're saying which is very little -- That the information. And it is very reminiscent of White House talking points in the parent there to sell something to. I'd never stop at my question was actually addressed in a -- away. I felt that I -- something and I said straight ahead right said that they yet you know anti will be very brief. He never got either I got a one lot of yes circular logic that it didn't. Ever answer he thinks. So I don't want me and I feel like I have to go to hear what these people are saying and and honestly. I note that you know -- thought it is not my representative James McGovern has. Congressman frank is not my representative. I think it's important for all of us get out and hear what everybody else is saying to see what they think it is going to deal. So far I haven't heard anything that indicates that people put their talking about the I know that they want to have a government option health care plan. That's how that I know at this point and I have this sneaking suspicion that there are determined to get a bond option whether we want to be on whether -- not."

Play from 6:04[6:04]" QB do you favor the insurance cooperatives because that's being discussed as possibly replacing the government run program."

Play from 6:11[6:11]" Well that might have -- that is the payment that is and what they were talking about the government option. Anything the government does is going to drive out competition in the markets that we you're going to all end up on the government option play and."

Play from 6:25[6:25]" Kristen Ali thank you so much we ratio. Mary Blake WBZ Newsradio 1030."
