Gov. Patrick proposes a series of cuts, taxes and deep draws from the state's dwindling rainy day fund to help Massachusetts deal with plummeting revenues. Reaction from the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation.

I'm reasonably comfortable with that the additional revenues a legislature is going to have to make the same choices that he made. If you don't have the additional revenues. Then you're going to have to make deeper cuts. And so that's the that's the tradeoff they're already here -- large cuts here so while.
