And to give people other regions to go to the movies and -- enough -- on the amount is. If you might know we do this as a good once. We do live broadcast for the Red Sox games in the first year we did that they won the World Series in the first -- we did the Celtics game they -- the NBA finals. So. You know that's something that people love"...
[0:00]" This is -- but he sold in the WBZ newsroom the first stores and attractions are opening at patriot place at Gillette Stadium. In the eyes of the professional sports world are all on what happens there. Shopping center located in the shadow of Gillette Stadium is -- first in the country. A 5200 square report Reebok store is opening also the new showcase cinema deluxe. It's a tool when a patriot placed offered a luxury level with deep leather seating. Cocktails in light music. I spoke with national amusements president Shari redstone -- concept -- tell me first about about this concept in its beginnings. Obviously you're attempting to enrich the experience there."
[0:41]" Well for a long time I had the idea that the movie going experience is getting very deep personal rights and very commercial. Perfect about the late ninety's we -- economic constitute really personalize the experience and kind of -- majorities entertainment experience to the masses. So this has actually been in the works for several years but I have to say that what we finally got here at -- I think it's finally all come together."
[1:04]" Now tell me about that what are the expectations for this new showcase cinema locks."
[1:10]" Well it's an incredibly experienced and it really something that I'd like defeat Sikhs being becomes the event and fortunately feed it to the movie too. You walk into the theater we have the Korean you know in the lobby. The a lot of different sitting mute talk but walking into your home and finding we feel as if you comfort zone in paint eat out. We have a restaurant on the first level called studio three which says signature cocktails and appetizers entrees and considerate which is open to everybody. Is whether it's expanded concessions that make concessions -- And then on the upper level we have what the effort to its -- level. Where you have your own private bar it's over 21. And you consider in the auditorium into while the type movie you have a botany you can have you cocktail -- on trade -- appetizers desserts. And it just really brings personal service to be -- in the -- Apple."
[2:01]" Tell me about the beginnings of this obviously. There are so many more choices for the consumer now to see movies at home on cable on demand. That must present a challenge to get people out of their homes to to enjoy and experience in theater."
[2:16]" Well you're absolutely right and I think what -- first -- in this state if we were competing with other theaters and that we were compete without at home entertainment in home entertainment it -- really competing with people's time and we need to give them a compelling reason to leave their homes to go to the theaters and unfortunately I think what was happening in the past is that the most wonderful thing about going to the movies with the social experience. In being able this year that we difference it would give family and yet we were building did -- get people in and out efficiently. And without tickets and now it's all about creating that social experience what we find. If people come in his group's -- he did gather around the love -- they -- power they hang out at a restaurant today that in the theater. And they really -- hockey you might stop by talking about a movie but the compensation growth. And we brought back the social aspect and the social experience of going to the movies."
[3:04]" Now you have opened other deluxe. Showcase cinemas yes we have -- your expectations."
[3:11]" They've been phenomenal what we find is this -- and the -- level are always the proceeds to so we got of of what the movie is people loved the experience I was sitting in the theater and Randolph. A couple of weeks ago my district of the people next means that. So what you think of the sick and of course having no idea what was that about talking to defect apparently thought that -- that we had to fit in the cheapest seats. And other it would picnic when he and the truth is up quote on quote cheap cheap seats. Are very but it sure isn't very beautiful and the experience and he main auditorium is really spectacular. But I think you get used to the level of service and personal attention and that's what people want to -- so we've been selling those seats. Com first -- got a suitable people tyranny and -- for the data that we opening conducted."
[3:58]" Set this up for the minds -- share it if you will tell me about the lay out how many of these that'd be a total seats are on the Lex level. In what's the price differential."
[4:07]" They -- at about ten dollars or fourteen auditory and for a belt auditoriums have to -- levels seats. Told the auditoriums at approximately sixty seats the other two have approximately thirty seats. He walked up -- and -- await the cop sitting changes he walked up -- if you overlook this balcony which over looks. The main lobby and the the you know that we have -- all of the time hopefully with pianist over the weekend. And you have -- majorities CD apply to our. If you -- up on the -- level. Before and after the movie and you go into these be cute plot love seats in fit into -- the movie and it's just the beginning and and the -- idiocy. See you know take awarded that the if we use the -- time in the theater and it's just fantastic and if you don't and that it's twenty dollars of which five dollars. Goes toward concessions with its popcorn candy -- TV or chocolate cake. And is about the main ticket goes. Studio breed of restaurant is open to everybody that if you're not going to the movies and they did you walk into a very spacious majority of auditorium rocky week. A lot of personal service and attention it's really an experience it's really. Hopefully you feel like you're visiting Europe hold your home and it really makes you feel like you've found the space that he was."
[5:25]" Now it sounds like you personally tasted every menu offering."
[5:29]" I can't. As many as 5% and I try to pick a ticket highlighted -- it's like that my friends like or off to a good stock. I think a pot of experimenting with -- got anything coming in every week with -- do want to try it was really bad is at the opening. They had the pineapple Martinis in the passion by peonies and a lot of them. I'm -- in the cherry Martinis all lined up in the classes and it was really fun I'd -- it's all about fun and entertainment. And just bringing on a bed and -- back you know to going to the movies."
[5:58]" Now that brings us to the next phase of your of your plan -- for showcase cinema at patriot place. And that is showcase live this really is in addition to the experience of the --"
[6:10]" Accidentally kept experimenting an asset and -- with live music and -- comedy people have lasted so this is different -- we actually built. A venue from the ground -- that is he had to -- live music like comedy and identity. And it's up 500 feet in that they it out or a thousand people standing depending on what kind of performance that is. -- opening on August 16 without you roll followed by -- to con. And -- demand and we're hoping to we have a very wide array of music of comedy. That would appeal to everybody to very intimate and -- you'd never further away from the out of annualized if you rename the 500 seat restaurant. It's amazing this sound system -- great production people great staff. In that the not a way to -- we tried to present like to moviegoing experience to really personalize. The music experience of the comedy experience and very intimate friendly game and five. For everybody and I just want to have a I -- I think upscale I think actually I mean for everybody it is affordable for --"

[7:19]" In the United States it's been fairly flat yeah. On so that's why I. Our goal is to bring an alternative programming. And to give people other regions to go to the movies and -- enough -- on the amount is. If you might know we do this as a good once. We do live broadcast for the Red Sox games in the first year we did that they won the World Series in the first -- we did the Celtics game they -- the NBA finals. So. You know that's something that people love you know experience to other kinds of programming and sports and that the it is and it keeps them coming back."
[7:49]" I heard somebody the other day saying that they SR opera as a showcase cinema and thought it was fabulous in the hope that comes back."
[7:56]" Yes and we will be doing more opportunity -- as well I think it's just a wonderful we didn't want to be a community entertainment destination. And bring everything you know to -- patrons -- that they never have to go anywhere else."
[8:08]" Well sure it's a -- speaking with you thank you so much and good luck and thank you very. Okay we'll talk decent --"
